It is EWG that not-profit Environment Group in USA.
EWG's Skin Deep provide information about 'cosmetic ingredients'.
In EWG's Skin Deep, you can find safety of ingredient through grade and data.

0 ~ 2 green grade : safe(low hazard)
3 ~ 6 yellow grade : moderate hazard)
7 ~ 10 red grade : high hazard)

None : zero data
Limited : a little data
Fair : appropriate data
Good : many data
Robust : so many data
But do not have blind faith in EWG grade.
EWG also gives green grade(0~2) to some ingredients that have zero or limited data.
And Ingredients that receive yellow or red grade have its standards content.
So if cosmetic are produced according to standards content, they don't cause trouble.
